Strip and Flip

This is my version of Susan Madu's "Strip and Flip" quilt, as modeled by Marlow and Joe.
Front above, back below (Ikea fabric on the back)

I quilted it with straight and wavy lines with a touch of cross-hatching.  Then in the large plain white, I put a geometric "flower".  I like it - I think it really suits the quilt.

Rainbow Connection

This is my version of the Burst Block.  It popped up in my Facebook feed last summer and I liked the look of the block but I did not like the way he made it.  So... I drafted my own paper pieced version and this is the result.  I'm calling it "Rainbow Connection".

Houndstooth

This is a very easy quilt that I made with a bundle of 10 fat quarters that I picked up at the Lethbridge Quilt Canada show back in June 2015 (at least I think it was June...).  Time Flies.  The quilt is actually very easy to make so I will be teaching it as a class oriented to new quilters at Wonderfil in March 2016 (Mar 8 and 22, 6:30-9:30 pm to be precise).  The class will cover all the steps in making a quilt - from cutting to binding.

Chatbot

"Chatbot: a software program or script designed to simulate a real person's conversation."

This little quilt looks sort of digital to me, so I named it "Chatbot".  It's “The Square In Quilt” design in a book titled Quilting Happiness by Christina Lane and Diane Gilleland.  I made the top quite awhile ago - last year sometime.  I finally got around to quilting it.
