I'm very excited - submitted my resignation at my "real job" - my first day of retirement will be June 27 and celebrating with a quilting retreat with my friends to the Bloomin' Inn near Pincher Creek in the southern Alberta foothills. I haven't been there before, but apparently it is quite lovely so really looking forward to it!
And of course with "retirement" will come MORE QUILTING - I'm and so, so, so looking forward to it!
We went to the Heritage Park quilt show last weekend - fabulous as usual. It's so easy to find things to buy there - came away with about 25 meters of fabric. And of course there are fabulous quilts everywhere - so much fun!!!
